Pirate Pay Review: Scam or Legit? The Shocking Truth!

Pirate Pay App Review - Is It Worth Your Time? An In-Depth Look

What is Pirate Pay?

Pirate Pay is a mobile app that rewards users for playing games, taking surveys, and completing offers. It is a legitimate "get-paid-to" (GPT) app that allows you to earn money, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's worth your time.

Pirate Pay Sign Up

With Pirate Pay, you earn virtual "coins" that can be redeemed for cash rewards via PayPal or gift cards. The app provides various ways to earn these coins:

  • Taking surveys
  • Playing specific mobile games
  • Completing offers on offer walls
  • Referring friends

It seems like a decent opportunity at first glance, but looking deeper reveals some limitations that impact the app's earning potential.

Payment Methods

Pirate Pay allows you to redeem your earned coins for PayPal cash or gift cards. The minimum PayPal withdrawal is 3,000 coins, equal to $0.02.

Gift card options will vary based on your country. However, during my testing, I encountered errors when trying to withdraw to PayPal, with no explanation given for the issue. This suggests potential problems with the payment system.

Earning Potential

Despite offering various earning methods, Pirate Pay does not provide high rewards. The coins are earned slowly, and it takes significant time investment to earn a meaningful amount of money.

For example, surveys tend to disqualify frequently, games only pay a few cents per minute played, and offer walls provide low rewards for the required effort.

Based on my experience, Pirate Pay's earning potential is very low. You'll need to put in a lot of time for little payoff.

I spent several hours testing out the different earning options within Pirate Pay over the course of a week. In that time, I earned a little over 2,000 coins, equivalent to just $0.10. The rewards for the time spent were shockingly low. While every little bit helps, the amount of effort required for such a small payout is simply not worthwhile. There are many better ways to earn extra money than wasting significant time on Pirate Pay.

Available Platform

Pirate Pay is only available as a mobile app for Android devices. iOS users cannot access it. Since it relies on tracking app usage, it's not viable on desktop.

How to Join

If you want to give Pirate Pay a try, you can download it from the Google Play store (if available in your country). Sign up using your Google account.

The app seems to be accessible globally, but checking the Play store is the best way to confirm availability in your region.

Here are the main pros and cons of using Pirate Pay based on my experience:

  • Offers PayPal payments
  • Fun games to play

  • Very low rewards
  • Buggy withdrawal process
  • Android only

Overall, I do not recommend using Pirate Pay. The rewards are too low for the time required, and there are much better options available. You'll likely end up frustrated with the low earnings after investing significant time into it.

Pirate Pay seems decent on the surface, providing various ways to earn rewards by playing games, taking surveys, and completing offers. However, looking closer reveals that the earnings potential is very low. The rewards for time spent are minimal, and trying to withdraw is buggy.

There are better survey and rewards apps available if you want to earn extra money. I suggest looking at the top-rated options for your country instead of wasting time with Pirate Pay's poor payouts. While it is legitimate, Pirate Pay is simply not an efficient way to earn.
